Matthew Mink, President of Sales
Matt's 13 year career in this field includes 5 years with Independence
Blue Cross in Philadelphia and 2 years with Blue Cross/Blue Shield
of New Jersey. Matt has been the President of Brown & Brown
Small Business since it's inception in 2001 and oversees the Sales
and Service of group benefits.
Charles Pires, Vice President of Sales
Chas has over 14 years experience with group benefits. As a managing
partner of Benefit Development Group he was instrumental in the
growth of the company in 5 years to 1.7 million in sales. Chas
is responsible for the sales and marketing of the small group
department including medical, life, dental & disability products.
He was also the recipient of Brown & Brown’s Top Gun
award for 2006.
Carmen Sterling
Carmen has been in the insurance industry for 10 years. She has
experience with both Pennsylvania and New Jersey insurance carriers
specifically in the small group area. She is currently an Account
Coordinator with Brown and Brown Consulting assisting the Account
Managers with enrollment processes, quoting, billing and claim
issues and general group maintenance.
Brad Histand
Brad is a recent graduate of Temple University and is our newest
addition to the staff, signing on with us in June of 2007. Brad
processes daily enrollments, terminations and changes as well
as claims issues with various carriers within the industry. Brad
has more than six years of customer service training.
Christie Teti
Christie is an Account Manager with several years experience in the insurance
industry, specializing in plan renewals, billing and claims auditing and
consultation for client benefit inquiries in the Small Group marketplace.
Christie has been with our organize since 2007 and continued to be an asset
to our team and overall business goals.
Cortney Wallace
Cortney Wallace completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Temple
University and is currently studying towards an MBA in Healthcare Management
at the University of Phoenix. She has over five years experience in the health
insurance field and a vast array of customer service experience. She is
passionate about providing superior service to all Brown and Brown clients.
She enjoys the challenges of claims resolution, billing and enrollment issues
as well as quoting benefits among all carriers.
